Numeri 33:55

Maar indien gij de inwoners des lands niet voor uw aangezicht uit de bezitting zult verdrijven, zo zal het geschieden, dat, die gij van hen zult laten overblijven, tot doornen zullen zijn in uw ogen, en tot prikkelen in uw zijden, en u zullen benauwen op het land, waarin gij woont.

וְאִם־לֹ֨א תֹורִ֜ישׁוּ אֶת־יֹשְׁבֵ֣י הָאָרֶץ֮ מִפְּנֵיכֶם֒ וְהָיָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֹּותִ֣ירוּ מֵהֶ֔ם לְשִׂכִּים֙ בְּעֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם וְלִצְנִינִ֖ם בְּצִדֵּיכֶ֑ם וְצָרֲר֣וּ אֶתְכֶ֔ם עַל־הָאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֖ם יֹשְׁבִ֥ים בָּֽהּ׃

AC	נה ואם לא תורישו את ישבי הארץ מפניכם--והיה אשר תותירו מהם לשכים בעיניכם ולצנינם בצדיכם וצררו אתכם--על הארץ אשר אתם ישבים בה
ASV	But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall those that ye let remain of them be as pricks in your eyes, and as thorns in your sides, and they shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
BE	But if you are slow in driving out the people of the land, then those of them who are still there will be like pin-points in your eyes and like thorns in your sides, troubling you in the land where you are living.
Darby	But if ye will not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, those that ye let remain of them shall be thorns in your eyes, and pricks in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land wherein ye dwell.
ELB05	Wenn ihr aber die Bewohner des Landes nicht vor euch austreibet, so werden diejenigen, welche ihr von ihnen übriglasset, zu Dornen in euren Augen und zu Stacheln in euren Seiten werden, und sie werden euch bedrängen in dem Lande, in welchem ihr wohnet.
LSG	Mais si vous ne chassez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d'entre eux que vous laisserez seront comme des épines dans vos yeux et des aiguillons dans vos côtés, ils seront vos ennemis dans le pays où vous allez vous établir.
Sch	Werdet ihr aber die Einwohner des Landes nicht vor eurem Angesicht vertreiben, so sollen euch die, welche ihr übrigbleiben lasset, zu Dornen werden in euren Augen und zu Stacheln in euren Seiten, und sie sollen euch befehden in dem Lande, darin ihr wohnet.
